Software for multi-sport complexes: one roof, many prices, no dark courts
Different sports, durations, and tickets under one brand. Missed revenue is the court that sits idle between formats. Recurring means every sport still sees you.
You do not run a tennis club that sometimes allows basketball. You run a building: zones that change personality by the hour. If the software cannot hold “badminton 40 minutes” and “5v5 60 minutes” without a fight, staff will leave gaps “to be safe.” Those gaps are unsold SKUs. See empty courts.
What multi-sport actually breaks
- Inventory. One calendar grid that assumes identical slots will either overlap or waste.
- Pricing. Seat vs full-court vs peak vs sport — if it is a footnote, the desk will freelance.
- Brand. Players of one sport should still land on you, not a sport-specific consumer app that forgets the rest of the building.
- Staff. Unlimited admin seats matter when the evening crew is not the morning bookkeeper.
Scoreline models Location (the subscription unit) → Zones (courts/fields) → activities (what is bookable), including full and pick-up on the same activity when you enable it. Sports on the marketing site are tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, football 5v5, and mixed complexes — because that is the ICP, not a racquet-only club OS.
Cost of inaction
Side spreadsheets per sport. A Facebook event for pick-up volleyball. A different tool for futsal rentals. When the closer calls in sick, nobody knows Court 4’s real state. Recurring users of one sport never hear about the other — you paid for the roof once.
Switch test
- Revenue. Can you change duration and price by activity without cloning the venue?
- Recurring. Does a badminton regular see your brand when they come back for 5v5?
- UX. Can staff switch sports at the desk without a second login culture?

What you miss
You miss using the whole floor as one business. Multi-sport is an advantage only if the OS is. Otherwise it is how you stay busy and still wonder where the month went.
